David's Notes: This is one of my favorite acoustic guitars that we've offered to date. Richard Hoover of Santa Cruz guitars is among the best luthiers in the world. His instruments are clearly some of the finest that can be had. There was a time when Richard made a very few select OM 12 string guitars. This is one of those beautiful offerings. Bookmatched Sitka spruce top, herringbone inlaid rosette and top bordering, gorgeous Indian rosewood back and sides, and nitrocellulose finish (of course). A 25.375" scale with hand slotted bone nut, a medium "V" neck profile, ebony fretboard, compensated bone saddle and satin nitrocellulose finish on the mahogany neck for that vintage feel round out the package. The original custom made arched top alligator style hard case is included.

This instrument is in "like new" condition with the warranty card included in the case and represents a bargain at this price! It offers a rich and exclusive heritage at a mass-produced price.

With this guitar, serial #2780, we present to you an incredibly rare opportunity to own a 12-string Santa Cruz hand built by Richard Hoover. No amount of research was able to tell us exactly how many he made, but we do know it was a very limited number. This particular example is in pristine, "like new" condition with zero visible blemishes or scratches.
